To Our Patients
After Gov. Jay Inslee’s proclamation on March 18th, 2020 that all dental offices across Washington State close for any non-emergent care until 5/18/2020, we are working to contact all patients scheduled during that period and re-schedule them to a later date.
We understand these are trying times, filled with confusion, frustration, and concern. Please know that we are available to answer your questions and manage any dental concerns you may have.
During the week of 3/23 – 3/26 we will have Team members at the office between 9am and 2pm answering the phone, checking emails, and available to assist you. We are taking precautions however, and discourage any in-person visits if not absolutely necessary. If you do require in-person assistance, we must ask:
- Have you been in close proximity to a family member, co-worker or friend that is exhibiting a fever, sinus congestion or respiratory signs of disease over the past two weeks?
- Have you traveled outside of the country in the last two weeks?
- Is your temperature over 99 degrees? If so we suggest you initiate a self-quarantine at this time.
If you answer NO to all of these questions, then we will be able to greet you in person, at which time you will be dispensed an oral rinse of hydrogen peroxide and directed to the nearest restroom facility to complete this rinse for 30 seconds. Please take advantage of that opportunity to also wash your hands with soap and water.
In the weeks following we will transition to remote-based communication, with Team members checking emails and answering calls from home.
If you have a true dental emergency during any time, please contact us as we are allowed to treat dental emergencies that meet the following criteria:
- Facial trauma
- Broken teeth with pain
- Tooth pain
- Swelling / infection
Again, to be seen at our office you must truthfully answer “NO” to the questions above.
If someone does not answer right away, we are most likely on the phone with another patient so please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you call outside of the business hours, call our office number 206-248-1339, and follow the prompts for after-hours contact.
We remind everyone to stay safe, healthy, and practice sound judgement during this time, and hope to see everyone soon!
